We accommodate lessons to fit in with our teachers’ availability. Classes are mainly in the afternoons with a few morning classes two or three times a week.
At Total English School we provide the required teaching materials and plenty of up to date resources to ensure high quality and enjoyable classes. Working as a team we always aim to help each other as much as possible.
Some of our classes have a maximum of only 6 students per class. Most of our students are of primary or adult age. We have a few baby classes and some infant and teenager groups too.
Our academy was professionally designed by an architect.The classrooms all have a reliable cable internet connection. They are well laid out with natural light and all have an external window to open for plenty of fresh air.
Our teachers are expected to have the ability to transmit knowledge , empathy , passion and a positive attitude.
Employment from September to June entitles teachers to 5 weeks paid holiday , plus another 10 public holidays that are also fully paid. We always offer a competitive salary above the national average.
Continuous training and support are given including free optional Spanish classes
The city of Lugo is very safe and has a low cost of living. Our academy is located in the university area of the city.
Job Requirements
Native English speaker.
Teaching experience , minimum 1 year.
EU Passport , British Passport or valid work permit.
At least Intermediate level of Spanish
Teaching qualification such as CELTA , TFEL etc.
